For all the wrong reasons, Axl Rose has accidentally done the most rock 'n' roll thing any rock star has done in a long-ass time.

Now, I wish someone sane would refuse induction into the completely silly and totally un-rock Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Apropos of nothing, a really great song about music by Eric Carmen of the Raspberries. What a weird-looking guy. Great songwriter, though. As you know, this song was made famous by Shaun Cassidy, which is certainly ironic given the subject matter ("rock 'n ' roll"). Such a great song. Eric Carmen is one of the great writers of songs-about-music. Up there with Ian Hunter. More on him later, as always.
